Uncovering this track was a pleasant surprise. Reflection Eternal (Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek for those not in the know) featuring Jay Electronica, Mos Def, and J. Cole. I almost forgot about this track, it was featured on Reflection Eternal's highly slept on Revolutions Per Minute album. This was in constant rotation for me during the summer of 2010. Mos & Kweli plus a hungry Jermaine and Jay Elec plus Hi-Tek on the beat equals a certified jam. Enjoy. You're welcome.

Since it is Sunday morning, it looks like the Shuffle God decided to hit us with a little bit of inspiration. This song was bananas, it almost made me "quit smokin' and quit drinkin'"...almost. The line-up to this remix is bonkers! We got five very legendary, very distinct, and very diverse sounds homogenizing on a beautiful Nina Simone sample. Daily Throwback: The High & Mighty ft. Mos Def & Skillz - B-Boy Document '99

The Shuffle God has returned! Taking us back to 1999, the ass end of hip-hop's golden era. The Soundbombing series from Rawkus Records introduced the world to Mos Def, Talib Kweli, the Beat Junkies, etc.  Soundbombing II was my summer soundtrack that year, and this cut hit clean-up.  You're welcome.
