May Misses

I'm back! I know, it's been a minute and I know it's a little late for a recap of music from May, and all I can say to that is S.A.D.U. (shout out to Jodi Dion). I decided to go with a new format this time and present the songs in a playlist. I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier, seeing that embedding 10 individual songs is kind of a pain in the ass.


May featured a lot of mellow, backyard BBQ ready tracks. No, Drake's monthly attempt to convince us that he's tough and had it hard growing up did not make the cut (sorry Drizzy, but you're sounding redundant, repetitive, superfluous, verbose lately...but that seems to be what the kids want nowadays, wash-rinse-repeat music...any who).

Enjoy the list. We got jams from a wide variety of artists, including Jazmine Sullivan, Robin Thicke, Mariah Carey, and The Roots. With what has been released so far, it sounds like it's going to be a hot summer. You're welcome.
