Welcome back. Week 3 has passed us, and so far no news of any running backs getting indicted over the weekend. I guess things are looking up for Goodell and Company. Once again, I'm here to give you my top five stand-out moments of the week. Get your popcorn ready (do people still say that?).
Falcons Put Up 56 On The Bucs!:
Remember last season when all those half-assed Chicago Bears' fans said Josh McCown was a better QB than Jay Cutler? Hahahaha...dummies! I told you, people don't ride the pine for a decade and then all of a sudden become great QBs. After his horrid performance on Thursday, McCown is more than likely back to doing what he knows best, holding a clipboard on the sideline. In other former Bear news, Devin Hester, now playing for the Falcons, broke the NFL record for return touchdowns. Congrats, Devin.
The Bears Are 2-1!:
Hooray!!!
Even Better, The Packers Are 1-2!
Double Hooray!!!
Broncos Redeem Themselves:
Even though they ended up losing in overtime in their Super Bowl XLVII rematch with the Seattle Seahawks, Payton Manning and the
Hardcore Fan Fights In Philly & Arizona:
We had some Philly fan-on-Philly fan violence in the stands while the Eagles bested the Washington Redskins in a match-up that included a brawl on the field as well. The fight of the night award goes out to the crazy Niners' and Cardinals' fans who brawled down the stadium stairs as Arizona beat San Francisco. Check out the footage below. There were even some ladies getting in the mix. Where's Ray Rice when you need him? Stephen A. Smith should probably not comment on this one.
Week 4 holds the first Bears-Packers game of the season. Next week's recap could either be a happy one, or a very depressing one. BEAR DOWN! You're welcome.
