2014 Fall TV Review: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 Premiere

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. started off as a show I wasn't very fond of.  Now it is must see TV for me, and guess what...it's back!

Also, SPOILERS!!!  I only go into the first 20 minutes of the show, and there is a lot of things that happen in that short amount of time.

Hugh Jackman Wants Wolverine/Avengers Alliance On The Big Screen

Hugh Jackman is letting the world know that it'd be "cool" to have Wolverine on The Avengers.  He apparently doesn't read comic books. Why would he? He's super rich and seems like a relatively happy person.

Trade Review: The Thunderbolts! The Andy Diggle Arc

Writers:  Andy Diggle, Daniel Way, Rick Remender

Artists:  Roberto De La Torre, Carlos Magno, Scott Hanna, Paco Medina, Bong Dazo, Miguel Sepulveda, Pop Mhan, and Carlos Rodriguez.

I will be reviewing 3 Thunderbolts trades for this post: Burning Down the House, Dark Reign: Deadpool/Thunderbolts, and Widowmaker.

The Thunderbolts is probably the most interesting Marvel series for a book with very little name recognition. This series started when all of the Avengers die saving the world from the evil Onslaught, and a new super hero team rises from the ashes to fill the void left in their absence.  This was a group of unknowns, who are revealed at the end of the first issue to be the super villains The Masters of Evil in disguise.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Chronicles of a Half-Assed Heroes Show

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. isn't a bad show, it's just not a good show.  I thought it was cool that they had a cameo from Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, but those are the highlights of the series.  Other than that, the show is pretty ordinary.

As a nerd, I would have loved it if at least one character on the "team" was an established Marvel character. I get that they want "new blood," to be free from nerd scrutiny, but minor characters should be fair game. Not even one super power on the team!  Lets take look at the characters we're stuck with.

Fall TV Preview: Tim's Top 5 Newbies

So, to say I watch a lot of TV is a bit of an understatement.  Every Fall I get real frantic with my DVR, and bring it to capacity 3-4 times a week.  This Fall is no different, and with 5 new shows that I'm really looking forward to(not to mention the other 20-30 that I'll watch based on my addiction), I hope my DVR can take it.  Let's take a look at what I'm feeling this year.
