On September 13, 1996, Tupac Amaru Shakur died from gunshot wounds he suffered from a shooting in Las Vegas six days earlier. That was exactly 20 years ago today. Since his death, Shakur's legacy has reached almost prophet-like levels. He is probably the most iconic rapper of all-time. Tupac has had six very successful posthumous albums released, and every year, numerous Pac fans refusing to accept his death report sightings of him around the globe. He has been resurrected in movies, music, and even holograms. He's basically hip-hop's version of Elvis Presley.

It's been 5 years in the making, but this is QuickBlurb's 300th post! A bittersweet moment today, considering music is a huge part of this blog, and the music world lost a major contributor today when it was announced that Prince passed away at his home today at the young age of 57.

November Misses
Good afternoon, people. It is once again that time to show you the music you may have missed out on in November. Considering there were only 3 posts last month (one of them being October Misses), its safe to say we missed everything.
In my defense, there were only a total of 10 songs that were bookmarked for the list, so it was a slow music month. Like them or not, here are the 10 best misses from the previous month. You're welcome.

Happy Birthday Prince Rogers Nelson
Wow, its hard to believe this man is 55 years old today. Most rock icons age horribly (have you seen Keith Richards lately?), and this man still looks like he's in his twenties. This man has been with some of the baddest women of all-time, mad some of the greatest music of all-time, and was the focal point of one of the funniest sketch comedy bits of all-time.
So, what do you get the man that has everything? A blog post, obviously. Happy birthday, Prince, you are truly an all-time top ten musician, at least in my book (if that means anything), and that list includes Mozart and Beethoven. Hopefully you're kicking it with Morris Day and Jerome today, I miss those guys. You're welcome.

Stuck: Justin Timberlake - Pusher Love Girl
This song has been stuck in my mind for the last 3 days. Hopefully I can pass it on to some of you. Don't get me wrong, this is a damn good song to have stuck in your head. It has a certain little Prince quality to it. JT did his thing with this one. You're welcome.

Prince on "Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon"
Your favorite musician's favorite musician (unless you're into some redneck/death sh*t, at which point you shouldn't be reading this) appeared on Jimmy Fallon's show last night. The man is timeless, and can still do things that no one else can. Kudos to Fallon for getting the legend to appear on his 4th anniversary show. And just so you know...Purple Rain > every motion picture soundtrack EVER. You're welcome.
