Dead Deadline

The NBA trade deadline is usually a pretty exciting day.  This year just meh.  No major moves that could potentially shift the championship picture, basically scrub for scrub trades.  I guess when J.J. Reddick is the biggest name on deadline day, that kinda sums everything up.

I think the biggest move made in the NBA on deadline day wasn't even a trade, it was the Knicks signing Kenyon Martin to a 10 day contract.  If K-Mart still has gas left in the tank, this could be huge for the Knicks in filling the void of the ever so valued "old ass man enforcing down low" position that was left vacant with the health issues of Marcus "Gray Bush" Camby and Rasheed "Old Balls" Wallace.  Martin has already spent extensive time playing with JR Smith and Carmelo Anthony, so he should be able to fit in just fine.

If you don't believe me about how lackluster today's transactions were, I'll let you see for yourself.  Here's a list of today's most "high profile" maneuvers.
