New Music: A Bunch of Stuff

Good evening. I realized I've been so busy getting others to post, that I've been neglecting my readers...all eight of you. So, I decided to neglect my wife for a few minutes and hit you with a post.  I only got a few minutes before she hits me with a few hard "sighs" and asks me "whatcha doing?", which really translates into "get the f-ck off the computer, dickhead...NOW!!!", so I'll make it quick.

I figured what better way to get re-acquainted with my audience than to scour the interweb and find a new song to hit you with. Instead I found five. Usually, each new song gets it's own post, but as the old black lady from YouTube says, "ain't nobody got time for that!" You get a five pack today, you're welc...oops not yet.

Sean Paul ft. Damian Marley - Riot
Sean Paul is one of my guilty pleasures, I've been an undercover fan of his for years.  You throw in the offspring of Bob Allah and a little EDM, and you have the ingredients for quite the end of the summer jam. Daddy likey.

M.I.A. - Unbreak My Mixtape
This crazy woman is back at it again. I'm never quite sure of what her songs mean, but they sure know how to make my head nod.

Estelle ft. Jeremih - Be In Love
Estelle has had difficulty duplicating the magic of American Boy, but in this duet with Jeremih, she seems to be finding her stride again. Loving this smooth beat.

Janelle Monae ft. Miguel - Prime Time
Janelle Monae basically teamed up with the male version of herself for this single.  Janelle just injects an infectious energy into all of her music that makes it almost impossible not to love her. Miguel, as long as he keeps his feet on the ground, can do no wrong. Great collaboration.

Blu (emcee) - The Clean Hand
I know you didn't think I was going to drop five heatrocks on you and give you any bars! Blu is one of my favorite MCs that nobody has heard of. It seems every time he is on the verge of breaking, he voluntarily takes a step back. The limelight is not for everyone, I guess. As long as he keeps making heat like this (produced by the legendary Pete Rock by the way) I really don't mind if he never gets famous.

Wait for it...wait for it...wait for...ah, here it is.  You're welcome.
